How to stop a cot from shedding?
I was looking at those comb/brushes that are supposed to trim and take the undercoat out. How do those work? Please help my uncle is keeping my cats for me for a while untill I get on my feet and if my one doesn't stop shedding he's gonna get rid of her, so I need to do something. Thanks

If the cat is long haired and has tangles find a cat groomer and have the cat groomed first. Sometimes they will shave the cat (you can request that) and for the time being I'd rather see you do that then get uncle madder and he takes it out on the cat. They look kind of cute with no hair. If the cats afraid you can have your vet shave her. Ive seen many Persian cats cut this way. Don't do that if its an inside/ outside cat. If the cat is a short hair you can still take it to get groomed to rid excess undercoat or just bathe her your self and purchase a fine tooth comb at any drug store. Go over the kitties coat every few days and that will drop the shedding down. Also a good diet helps cats not shed as well.
If hes really upset and your afraid you'll lose your cat have the groomer shave her hair short and by the time you get your new place she'll be back to normal. It won't harm kitty and make uncle happy.
Cats do shed though its a fact of their life
