how to adjust the flow on pond pump?
it is a submersible pond pump that i bought and it says flow rate adjustable. It is 1340 gph and this is just a little bit too strong, so i was wondering how to go about adjusting the flow rate

Depending on the pump type it may not take back pressure and burn out.
Another method is to split return among several outlets,or to lengthen the return line to add "head',,, most pumps lose pressure when distance/height is added to the outlet side.
It's a whole diameter/distance/volume/velocity thing.... but you'll get it.
