My friend literally makes a 'dogs dinner' out of any social get-together by insisting on bringing her lap dog. This is unfair to other guests and rather rude in my book. She considers him part of the family.
How to tackle this 'hairy' situation without offending?
You need to weigh up the consquences in each situation.
If she can't bring the dog, will she come herself? Is it worth spoiling a friendship over this - it could have that impact if she really loves her dog.

Shih Tzu puppies should continue on the same food they received from the breeder, so be sure to ask your breeder what kind of food to get. Making gradual dietary changes will help avoid upsetting your dog's stomach. As your dog grows, transition her from puppy food to premium food especially formulated for smaller dogs.
