SHAZ; how many pack of the kit did you used for the month you tired the ovulation kit?
It was a 7 test strip pack, i only used 2 of the strips coz i guessed roughly when my ovulation was due then ovulated on the 2nd day i tested. Is that what you meant?
In order to identify your most fertile time with an ovulation test, first you need to understand something about your own body and your menstrual cycle. Ovulation generally occurs 12 to 16 days before the next period starts and your 2 most fertile days are the day of the LH surge and the day after. Around this time is when you should be testing. There is no need to test every day of your cycle.

The length of your cycle is the number of days from the first day of your menstrual period to the day before your next period starts.
So to work out your cycle length:
Count the day your period starts as Day 1 (this means the first day of full menstrual flow)
Continue counting. The last day of your cycle is the day before your next period starts. The number of days is your cycle length.
The length of the cycle can vary from one woman to another; and can vary from cycle to cycle in the same woman. Most women have a cycle that lasts between 23 and 35 days.

When can I do the Test?
When you start testing depends on your usual cycle length. Below is a simple chart that will tell you when in your cycle you should start testing.

It is important that you haven't urinated for at least 4 hours before doing the test, because this ensures that the hormone level in your urine is concentrated enough for the test to detect. You can test at any time if the day, but it should be at the same time each day.

When do I use Clearblue Ovulation Tests?
You can usually start using Clearblue Ovulation Tests as soon as you decide that you want to get pregnant. There are 7 test sticks in a Clearblue Ovulation Test pack. For further information about when to start testing and what may affect your result click here.
The day that you should start testing depends on the length of your cycle, which is the number of days from the first day of your period (day 1) to the day before your next period starts. Refer to the table above for further information on when to start testing.

If your cycle length varies by more than 3 days choose the shortest cycle you have had over the last 6 months to work out when to start testing. It is possible that you may need to use additional test sticks to detect your LH surge. If so, you will need to start a new pack and continue testing.
For example, if you have a 27 day cycle, you need to start testing 10 days after the first day of your most recent period. Test every day at any time of the day, although it should be the same time each day. Most women find that first thing in the morning is the most convenient. It is important that you haven’t urinated for at least 4 hours before doing the test, because this ensures that the level of LH in your urine is concentrated enough for the test to detect.
If you detect your LH surge, there is no need to carry on testing during that cycle and you can store any test sticks you have left in case you need them for your next cycle. When you have detected your LH surge, you should make love during the next 48 hours to maximise your chances of getting pregnant during this cycle.
If your cycle length varies by more than 3 days, you may find that you don’t detect your LH surge using 7 test sticks, and might need to use test sticks from another pack.

How do Clearblue Ovulation Tests work?
Clearblue Ovulation Tests detect Luteinising Hormone (LH) in your urine. The level of this hormone rises or ‘surges’ 24-36 hours before you ovulate. So, by detecting your LH surge using Clearblue Ovulation Tests, you can predict the 2 days each cycle when you are most fertile and therefore most likely to get pregnant; the day before ovulation and the day of ovulation.
Clearblue Ovulation Tests are 99% accurate and take 3 minutes to give your result.
Cheap diabetic supplies are great for people who are under insured, have no insurance or just want to save a bit of money. This means that you will have plenty of strips, syringes and swabs for the month at a much reduced price. The kit will also be delivered to your door so that there is no fuss getting into shops or pharmacies.
Once a person has developed a routine in treating their diabetes and they know how much equipment they need it makes sense to use an on line supplier. First, it is cheaper and secondly, it is convenient.
Many of these companies will send a bonus blood reading meter if you subscribe to their monthly kit offer. This means you can get all the equipment you need to monitor your blood sugar level and diabetes for the cost of a monthly subscription.
