When a baby sling says large and medium who is the size refering to?
I'm setting up my baby registry at burlington coat factory and I like these 2 baby slings but they are sized large and medium. Is the size referring to the baby or the mother?
The mom, try them on before you register a specific size. If you didn't gain too much weight while you were pregnant then the width of your rib cage should remain the same after you give birth.
The size charts on the back of the package aren't that great, so the chart may say that based on your measurements you're a medium, but a large would fit better.
Where to Shop For Womens Large Shoes
Go into just about any shoe store in any town and go look at the womens shoes department. Should you happen to be a lady who fits a "normal" sized shoe, then this trip to your local shoe store is no big deal. You do not need to give much concern to purchasing a shoe in your specific size. Your greatest challenge is likely to be obtaining the shoe you seek in the color you seek. And, most likely, you will be successful in discovering your desired color most of the time.
But, what about the remaining ladies who do not fit into the mold of a "normal" sized shoe? Those ladies who wear womens large shoes? For these women, there is virtually no reason at all to browse their local shoe stores. Why is that? Woefully, virtually no physical retail shoe stores stock the big shoe sizes they wear.
"Normal" sized shoes, as decided by the shoe industry, run from size 5-1/2 (sometimes size 5) to size 10. Large sized shoes, those that do not qualify as "normal", are any sized shoes bigger than sized 10 shoes. It is very difficult for ladies who wear big sized shoes to find them in retail stores.
Luckily, the Internet is supplying these ladies with a simple way to shop for bigger sized shoes. There are many web sites that cater specifically to womens large shoes. In fact, there are many familiar, brand-name shoes that create large womens shoe sizes under the brand name of Barefoot Tess as an exclusive line to them.
Not so long ago, the choices for larger ladies shoe sizes was uninspiring. The shoe styles were boring, mostly in black, brown, or beige colors. Ladies were disappointed that shoe designers wanted them to sport unstylish styles. Ladies needing these bigger sizes were almost embarrassed to wear what couple of shoes they were able to obtain.
Today, though, there are plenty of options, both in style and color. Womens large shoes are now fashionable and, gasp!, cute. It is very good to know that shoe manufacturers at long last get that cute shoes can be made in bigger sizes, as well as smaller sizes.
Ladies who wear bigger sized shoes nowadays have the chance to surf for boots in bigger sizes, large ladies sandals, large sized womens mule pumps, high heels in larger sizes, casual shoes in larger sizes, and even large womens wedding shoes. These fashions can be bought in size 11, size 12, size 13, size 14, size 15, and even size 16.
Admittedly, the bigger the shoe size, the less picks there are. Shoes sized 16 for women ordinarily do not have the same large choices available in size 12 shoes. However, for ladies needing size 16, having any option at all is something they did not actually have just a decade or so ago.
It is great for women who wear bigger shoe sizes, such as womens shoe size 12 or shoe size 15, to be able to shop on the Internet. The World Wide Web has provided great new styles and possibilities to these ladies.
